Richard Bennett
Technology and Clean-Tech Entrepreneur (UK)
Richard Bennett currently assists technology companies, VCs, and Nomads to structure companies for admission to the London AIM market. He has over 17 years management, marketing, product development, sales and corporate development experience in the technology sector, which he now applies to position innovative technology and clean-tech companies for funding and rapid growth.
He started his career working with GE Information Services, the eCommerce subsidiary of General Electric. In 1994, he was a founding shareholder of J2/JFAX Inc., in New York, which has become a leading Internet unified messaging service and is currently listed on NASDAQ. In 1999 he became a Director of Virtual Internet plc, a domain name, web hosting and intellectual protection company, which listed the same year on the London AIM market.
Currently, Richard works on a portfolio of corporate development projects, including the recent admission to AIM of the Internet telephony (VoIP) company, Coms plc, as well as the incubation of The Carbon Advisory, Clean Blue Sky and Jade Clean Technology.
